SUMMARY OF POSITION
Flixster, Inc. seeks an Associate Manager, Sales Marketing for the Flixster Sales Marketing department. The Associate Manager of Sales Marketing is responsible for assisting in the creation of the “go to market” strategies for Flixster’s Ad Sales team. The Associate Manager will coordinate marketing programs and online media plans to support those strategies, as well as provide support for other sales marketing team members. In addition, the Associate Manager will assist at local trade events.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with the online advertising sales team to create compelling programs in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) from agency and advertiser clients.
- Develop sales presentations, marketing materials, and research collateral.
- Work with the internal teams (editorial, ad ops, product and technical) to create new programs including sponsorships and mobile campaigns.
- Assist with local trade programs and off-site events.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Requires bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 6 months digital sales development / sales marketing / sales planning experience in an online advertising or sales organization.
- Experience with RFPs, and working knowledge of digital research vendors and tools such as Nielsen, Comscore, Salesforce, DART, etc preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines and budgets.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with different web browsers, and Microsoft Office Suite- especially powerpoint and excel.
- Strong oral, writing, and presentation skills. Highly organized and detail oriented.
