The Johnson & Johnson Global Marketing Team charter is to help the Johnson & Johnson Operating Companies build the best brands worldwide. This role is reporting directly reporting to the Vice President of Global Marketing Group.
The Director of Integrated Communications will have North America accountability and global exposure for Consumer Health Care and Over-the-Counter Brands. They will lead a team who brings insight, expertise, and best in class integrated communication approaches to J&J Brand Marketers. The position supports the North American VP and works with Agency Partners (Media, Creative, Digital, Mobile and PR) to ensure communications excellence for J&J Brands.
This position requires exceptional relationship building abilities with senior business leaders across the organization.
Primary responsibilities include: Partner with Brand, Agencies and Media Companies to drive "best in class" Integrated Communications for J&J brand equities. Elevate digital IQ, expertise and innovation with Brands. Indentify & introduce new communication models to organization. Scale innovation and share best practices with extend Global Marketing Group team. Incumbent will be responsible for talent management & development of direct reports, including contributing to the professional growth of team members.
A Bachelor's Degree is required. A minimum of 10+ years of marketing experience is required. Experience working in pharmaceutical/consumer healthcare company/ Consumer Packaged Goods or Media agency and/or digital agency experience is required. A proven track record in Digital, Social Media, Mobile marketing is required. People management experience is strongly preferred; a proven track record in leading high performance teams is required. The ability to motivate and inspire direct reports to deliver exceptional outcomes and measurable results is required. Must have experience managing multiple business and vendor relationships are also a must. Must also be able to effectively navigate in a highly matrixed organization, be highly collaborative and operate within an extended global and engage and rally organization around communication/marketing innovation. Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to form quick relationships are required. Consultative skill-set, confident, insightful, with the ability to quickly identify where he/she can add value is necessary. Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities, be adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity. This individual should be a self starter, resilient, with a high achievement drive, persistent in achieving goals and intrinsically motivated. Experience with media communications planning, CRM, direct marketing, and integrated communications are preferred. This position is based in New York, NY and may require 25% domestic and international travel.
