Omnicom Group Inc. has acquired a majority stake in San Francisco-based EVB, a full-service advertising agency specializing in high-end interactive marketing. In addition to adding adidas and Kellogg's to its client roster, EVB was awarded two Gold Lions at the International Advertising Festival at Cannes, Best Flash Site at South by Southwest and two Gold and three Silver SF ADDY Awards.
MetaCafe, a video sharing site, announced it has secured $15 million in second funding round which was led by investor Accel Partners. The cash infusion will be used to open a new headquarters and invest in marketing.

Wunderman, an interactive division of advertising conglomerate WPP Group PLC, has acquired web design firm Zaaz. The company did not disclose exact terms of the deal, but said ZAAZ held net assets of $1.6 million at the end of 2005, and generated $9.2 million in unaudited revenue.
