For many email marketers, the bottom line for their campaign’s success is the financial bottom line-- the number of purchases that resulted from the message.

Conversions, however they are counted, are the ultimate sign of success for an email campaign.

Your email marketing software may be able to show the number of transactions, average sale, total sales and more from your email campaign.

Tip: Online purchases, registrations or whitepaper downloads can be directly linked to an email campaign, but offline conversions may not always be directly attributable. Use coupons or source codes when possible so you can see the impact of your email campaigns on all aspects of your business.
