Keeping true to the trend of cross-promotions, "The Messengers'" site has a link to the first 20 pages of "The Messengers'" graphic novel. Sam Raimi's production company, aptly called Ghost House Pictures, teamed with Dark Horse Comics to create this version of the film. The graphics are such that the online reader literally turns the pages of this online comic book.

Since the audience has already had plenty of chances to bond with the main character, Sony focused on giving them additional opportunities to empathize with her. For example, a map of paranormal stories is accessible from the website's main page. Readers can click on any of the pinpointed locations to read stories either initially placed by the studio (there are only a few of them) or previously submitted by others (there are nearly 100 of those stories posted to the site by fans of all ages).
The website also distinguishes itself by offering three tests the reader/viewer can take to determine if he or she has an aptitude for extrasensory perception. The audio test, as previously demonstrated with "The Messengers" ultrasonic ringtones, should be left to the younger fans. (Read: If you're older than 25, don't bother.)
