Clear Channel Radio and Google have announced a multiyear deal that allows Google to a sell a guaranteed portion of 30-second ad inventory on the broadcaster's 675 AM and FM radio stations across the country.
Under the terms of the deal, advertisers using the Google Audio Ads service will gain access to a national distribution chain of targeted markets.
The deal gives Clear Channel an additional revenue stream and links the company with advertisers who had not previously used radio.
Clear Channel CEO John Hogan called the deal a "win-win."
The deal helps Clear Channel, one of the nation's largest radio companies, remain competitive in the face of a growing online ad market.
