Bud.TV Glass Still Half Full

Although Anheuser-Busch CEO August Busch IV recently told investors that the brand expected Bud.TV to "fade" in the coming months, the beer maker now says it won't give up on the site, and that it will add new features such as social networking to boost traffic, according to a Wall Street Journal Report.

Bud.TV also will forgo longer programs -- about six-minutes in length -- for shorter one-minute clips.

Tony Ponturo, vice president of global media and sports marketing at Anheuser-Busch, said the revamped site will be "a little more edgy," adding interactivity will play a major role in the redesign.

Last month, Bud.TV took heat over its slumping numbers, with industry pundits predicting the site was not long for this world.
