Nice video that clearly explains the important points you bring forward. Useful to anyone getting started in the business. Thanks for sharing ~MLT
Good site
Bluetooth Proximity Marketing is interesting, but how do you deal with the consumer opt-in process? Or do you just send messages to anyone within range? If so, that seems like a version of spam that consumers will revolt against.
Granted a sms is a viable approach to a virtually untapped market that is destined to grow in leaps and bounds, however there is a current method of mobile advertising that is growing rapidly within reach of the small business , not just the goliath phone companies . Bluetooth Proximity Marketing , the idea of broadcasting advertisements via bluetooth to consumer cell phones is a cost effective method to reach the consumer with literally no middle man . Obviously as a Sales & Marketing guy for a company that sells these products (shameless plug for proxiblaster.com) I am somehwat biased but I find it interesting that we see very few stories dedicated to the onset of "Blue Marketing" and most mobile articles focus on sms as the next bastion of advertising , when we have not even truly started the current mobile approach ? It would be nice to see an article on proximity marketing that even the small retailer can afford to participate in . Dan
Helpful in providing insight on what to focus on 'now' and making the important point that it's 'one' channel that should be used in conjunction with other channels, for an effective campaign. Recently heard a presentation in the UK on Mobile Marketing (the opportunities and challenges) that reviewed several B2C examples. Wondering when / how B2B marketers will start leveraging and what regulations will look like as a result of wider adoption?
Very informative and well produced. Nice work, Paul. Keep the mobile info coming,
Great video - reinforces discussions we're having with advertisers in the UK at the moment, that today SMS is the best way of reaching a mass audience via mobile and that mobile web is interesting and growing, but currently niche.
This was a VERY VERY VERY! Enlightening Feature! My mind is not letting me sleep. WOW!!! Keep i coming Hey can I tell my friends? I'd Like To Think So. Dan
