Yahoo rumored to make $150M video deal
It may seem small compared to the $44.6 billion offer on the table from Microsoft, but Yahoo looks to be making its own acquisition. According to a report in TechCrunch, Yahoo is looking to spend $150 million on video startup Maven Networks.
Maven provides video hosting services to Gannett, Hearst, Fox News, Sony BMG, the Financial Times, Univision, TV Guide and others.
A report at NewTeeVee puts the figure at closer to $170 million.
