Marchex adds some new talent, plus other interactive industry hires, partnerships, launches and announcements.

Ad Infuse, a leader in delivering highly personalized mobile ad experiences, announced an expansion to its relationship with Swisscom, Switzlerand's leading mobile operator.

Appssavvy, a direct sales team for social media applications, announced the addition of three sales directors serving social media application developers, brands and agencies on both the east and west coasts of the U.S. The new hires are Ahang Ghorban, Vida Mylson and Zack Sugarman.

Clickbooth has announced its own in-house compliance team led by senior director of compliance and enforcement Ziare Brown.

Coremetrics announced that Rodale Inc. has implemented Coremetrics Explore to enable its marketers to segment customers, analyze behavioral data and generate detailed custom reports on the fly with no IT involvement.

Critical Mass, an Omnicom digital marketing agency, has named Erik Thrane group account director.

eXelate has announced the launch of its newly chartered Targeting Optimization Lab. The mission of the eXelate lab is to continuously filter, analyze and optimize personally unidentifiable targeting data gathered from its publisher partners, and which is made available to ad networks on the eXelate Targeting eXchange. 

ExerciseTV and Hearst Magazines Digital Media have announced a new alliance designed to improve the health and fitness levels of young women.

EyeWonder announced the recent appointments of four senior level executives with strong industry experience within the interactive advertising industry from companies including PointRoll, Tribune Interactive, and Carat Fusion. The new appointments include Brendan O'Brien, VP of in-stream solutions, Andrew Kennedy, VP of key accounts, Brett Rubio, VP of sales, West Region, and Armando Rosario, senior sales engineer.

Gorilla Nation announced that it has been selected as the exclusive representative for Hallmark.com. The company has also been selected to represent BestofMedia Group's leading Canadian sites.

Innovyx, an Omnicom agency-focused email marketing services firm, has named Nissa Wright VP of strategy. She will report directly to Derek Harding, CEO, based in the Seattle office.

Marchex, a local search and advertising company, announced that it has named Sloan Seymour, VP of Marchex Adhere; Ed O'Keefe, VP of Performance Marketplaces; Brooks McMahon, VP of partner development; and promoted Leigh McMillan to SVP, marketing and communications.

Media6°,  a New York-based start-up, announced that it has closed a $9 million series A round of funding led by U.S. Venture Partners.

Personal Life Media, a publisher of lifestyle podcasts and blogs for people on the leading edge of culture, made available a patent-pending audio player widget that distributes multiple podcast RSS feeds. Web widgets are the small modules of content or advertising that a web user can add to a social network profile, blog or personal start page. The free player uses "show flow," which makes the album art for up to five podcasts fly back and forth in the application via mouse control.

Sportgenic announced the appointment of Kevin M. Granath to SVP of sales.

Stephen-Bradford Search has announced its new office location at 261 Madison Avenue, 11th floor, effective Sept. 2.

TechInsights announced TechInsights Direct, an online portal that enables technology marketers to search, analyze, buy and manage online and print advertising programs from EE Times, Embedded Systems Design and TechOnline.

The Arthritis Foundation announced that it has enhanced its online presence using ThePort Network's Web 2.0 social media platform. Features enabled through the platform will help engage users and facilitate the sharing of information related to understanding, living with, and treating the chronic disease. The new social networking features went live this month.

Undertone Networks has announced the addition of three new directors to its sales management team. Mark Ailsworth, Brad Fox and John Yearout will build and manage local sales teams in key markets including Chicago, Detroit and San Francisco.

WebTrends announced the immediate appointment of Alex Yoder as the company's new president and CEO following the resignation of Dan Stickel. Yoder was also appointed to the company's board of directors.

YuMe announced that online media veteran Michael Mathieu has joined the company as its new CEO.
