Twitter gets its shot on primetime
It was inevitable -- a Twitter TV series is on its way. Reveille and Brillstein Entertainment Partners are developing a new TV series that will use Twitter to direct the action of the show.
The unscripted series will put people on the trail of celebrities in a competitive format and use Twitter's platform into the show's storyline.
"Twitter is transforming the way people communicate -- especially celebrities and their fans. We are thrilled to be partnering with them to unlock the potential of this groundbreaking technology on television in the first-ever series incorporating Twitter into the action of the show," said Howard T. Owens, managing director at Reveille.
