Google is planning to launch a revamped version of the ad exchange it acquired through its purchase of DoubleClick last year, MarketingVox reports.
Google's share of display ads comes in behind Yahoo and Microsoft, but the company believes it can close the gap by placing ads on YouTube and its many partner sites, according to MarketingVox.
The new ad exchange will be a marriage of both Google and DoubleClick's ad-placement systems, thereby simplifying the ad buying experience across multiple sites.
