Aegis Group's Carat has been handed a major win. Nokia will be moving its $415 million global media business exclusively to the agency for media planning and buying, Ad Age reports.
The global shift is expected to be finalized in the third quarter of 2009, with the exception of India, the Middle East, and North Africa, which will take a little longer to transition.
Group M's MediaCom, Nokia's previous media agency, forfeited the account earlier this year after contentious negotiations about costs and pay. MediaCom held the account since early 2006.
