There's more hurt in store for advertising. WPP's GroupM has revised its projection for 2009 and now predicts global advertising spend to drop 5.5 percent, more than a percentage worse than previously thought, Reuters reports.
The company is hoping for a mild recovery in 2010, but doesn't put too much weight on that either. On the brighter side, GroupM pointed to Brazil, Russia, India, and China as the countries most likely to lead the recovery.
