Yahoo undertakes massive brand overhaul

Yahoo has kick started a major overhaul of its brand to repair its damaged image in the public eye, Kara Swisher of All Things Digital reports.

The company's new CMO Elisa Steele is spearheading the effort and has hired consulting firm Landor Associates and outside consultant Penny Baldwin, who was a former top executive at Young & Rubicam, according to All Things Digital.

The new branding of Yahoo is likely to focus on the latest relaunch of the site's homepage.
