The online industry's only all-female professional association, Digital Diva Connection, will reconvene for its annual summit in Santa Monica next Saturday, Sept. 12. The one-day event, founded by Yahoo executive Marian Thomas, will eschew the typical corporate summit atmosphere with a meeting on the beach for yoga and surfing lessons.
The idea behind the event is for women in digital media to gain industry insights from other female colleagues in a supportive, non-intimidating environment. Speakers at the event include Romi Lassally, founder of TruuConfessions.com, and Theresa Gage Durham, president of Media Maven Consulting.
