New platform improves social media monitoring

A newly released social campaign platform will make it easy to create, manage, and track social ad campaigns using Facebook and Twitter.

The Buddy Media Platform, created by Buddy Media, is a simple and cohesive platform perfect for those who are just getting started or need a refresher on how to make eye-popping social campaigns, according to TechCrunch

On Facebook, marketers can create and watch campaigns by making a Facebook page. While Facebook makes page building easy, the application allows marketers to implement YouTube videos, coupons, polls, slideshows, and virtual gifts, making the page more interactive. The Buddy Media Platform also lets agencies use Facebook Connect on a brand's web page to track the social network's data.

Buddy Media's Twitter Management System lets marketers track trending topics and receive data on followers, mentions, and re-tweets. The Buddy Media tool will track the volume and click-through rate of links shared on Twitter, as well as observe and analyze the sentiment of tweets about a particular brand compared to its competitors. In addition, brands can time-release Twitter messages. The Twitter account can also act as campaign headquarters of sorts, as it allows the brand to tweet while also monitoring data.
