Our mobile life partners
There is very little disagreement that mobile is the newest and most promising marketing opportunity out there. Our mobile phones have gone from tethered telephone devices in our cars to handheld super-computers that just happen to have voice-calling capability. And, given the development efforts of Apple, Google, and Blackberry, we are just now scratching the surface of what incredible capabilities lay ahead for us, not just as marketers, but as connected individuals.
It struck me as I considered writing this article that our mobile phones have so taken over the way we live and communicate that they have become our personal partners. I thought we might have some fun comparing how we interact in our human personal relationships with how we market through our little mechanical buddies.
As you'll see, there are quite a few similarities.
