"Freakonomics" author urges marketers to think like freaks

At Unify Tech in New York City, iMedia spoke exclusively with "Freakonomics" co-author Stephen J. Dubner. Here's his unique advice for solving problems in a drastically more productive way.

In 2005, Stephen J. Dubner and Steven D. Levitt published a book that would fundamentally change the way marketers, economists, and the world approach and solve problems. In 2007, they followed up their best-selling book with the sequel "Superfreakonomics" and in 2010, "Freakonomics" was turned into an unprecedented motion picture. Think the authors of one of the most prolific books of the 21st century are done changing the world? Think again. Or rather, get ready to think -- like a freak -- again.

Coming May 13, 2014, Dubner and Levitt are releasing their new book, "Think Like a Freak," and iMedia was there in New York City to pick the brain of one of the most unique journalists of our time. In this exclusive interview at Tapad's Unify Tech 2014, Stephen Dubner speaks about his upcoming book and gives marketers his creatively different advice for managing problems in both business and life. Want to work more productively? Here's how you need to change the way you tackle problems.
