Gannett Co., Inc. announced the acquisition of the stock of rich media marketing company PointRoll, Inc.

USATODAY.com is Gannett's largest online property.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed. PointRoll was represented by The Jordan, Edmiston Group, Inc., a New York based investment bank that specializes in media and information industries.
