Spam Levels Fall

eMarketer reports that spam levels have fallen over the course of 2005.

Spam levels have fallen steadily this year, according to data from Symantec. In January, more than two-thirds of all email messages were spam, Symantec said. The level fell to 53 percent as of June. However, the overall spam count for the six months, at 61 percent, was up slightly from the year-ago period.
