New hires, acquisitions and partnerships within the interactive marketing industry.

101communications has selected Accipiter's AdManager Hosted solution. 101communications, an integrated media company aimed at specialized targets within the IT community, will use AdManager to serve ads through its advanced syndicated technologies, such as RSS feeds, in addition to its entire network of over 20 websites and industry newsletters.

Air2Web, a global provider of wireless applications and content gateway services, announced it has partnered with WNEP Channel 16, the ABC affiliate serving northeastern and central Pennsylvania. With the Air2Web Content Gateway, which provides customers with direct connectivity to 482 carriers in 220 countries, WNEP is able to send SMS messages regarding weather-related school closures to more than 12,000 wireless-enabled parents, students and school employees.

Movie Banners, an online advertising creative agency primarily serving the film industry since 2002, has announced that it has changed its name to Media Banners. The change was made to better reflect its new client base that has expanded beyond the movie industry ,including online creative advertising for Mattel, Toys 'R' Us and MGM Hotels/Casinos.

Napster has appointed Dan Mauch to the newly created position of vice president of advertising sales/operations and Ktimene Gembol to the newly created position of director of ad sales operations. Mauch will be responsible for building Napster’s online ad sales and ad operations departments as the company launches an advertising supported initiative.  Gembol will be responsible for managing the ad operations group for the company’s forthcoming advertising supported initiative. 

Omniture, a provider of on-demand web analytics and online marketing services, announced the company was named a leader in the web analytics industry in this year's Forrester Wave report, "Web Analytics, Q1 2006." Omniture received the highest score for currently offering a compilation of both product capabilities and service and support. Omniture also received the highest score for product direction. 

Red Door Interactive, a San Diego-based internet presence management firm, announced that it has appointed Paul Bruemmer to director of search marketing. Bruemmer, formerly principal business analyst at SEO firm, Bruce Clay, Inc., will head up efforts to further expand client recognition through search optimization at Red Door Interactive.

ZEDO, Inc., a provider of online ad serving solutions, announced that 162 companies chose ZEDO's Third Generation Ad Serving technology in 2005. Building on a 100 percent year-over-year growth, ZEDO's scalable proprietary ad serving technology now serves over 20 billion monthly impressions to digital direct marketers, online publishers and agencies throughout the world.
