AKQA promotes three executives, Coremetrics teams up with Abebooks and Quova, and more interactive new hires and partnerships.

AKQA has announced three new promotions including the appointment of Andrew O'Dell to president, interactive advertising where he will oversee AKQA's interactive advertising operations nationally. Stuart Sproule moves up to managing director, San Francisco. Guy Wieynk was promoted to director of client services.

Accela Communications, Inc., a producer of on-demand webcasts and rich media programs, has hired Michael Herzog as creative director. Herzog will draw on his 18 years of experience in video production, graphic & web usability design, 2D and 3D animation, audio production and music composition to deliver Accela clients dynamic and results-driven on-demand rich media programs and messaging. 

Accipiter Solutions, Inc., an online advertising technology innovator since 1996, announced it has increased its revenue base 37 percent over the last year, thanks in part to new customer wins and significant volume growth on the ASP side of the business. 

Coremetrics 2006 Activity Atlas has partnered with Abebooks.com, an online marketplace for books, to better understand its online traffic and drive stronger targeted marketing efforts. Abebooks.com is using Activity Atlas to determine customer locations and market to them accordingly.

Dotglu, LLC has hired Jonas Hallberg as creative director. Hallberg will partner with creative director Aric Cheston on the BMW account, awarded to Dotglu in December 2005, as well as a number of other Dotglu accounts.

Exmplar, Inc., a provider of multi-channel brand personalization services, has hired Diane Turner as vice president of sales. She will be responsible for sales and business development in the travel vertical. 

Experience, Inc. announced that Microsoft has expanded its interactive advertising relationship with Experience to promote its Visual Studio Express 2005 product suite. As an extension of the pilot program Microsoft initiated with Experience in 2005, Experience will deliver comprehensive experiential marketing programs to help Microsoft build loyalty among the next generation of technical talent.

ID Society, a strategic interactive design and marketing agency, announced that it has hired Adam Paul to manager of new business. Paul will be responsible for generating new accounts to complement the agency's expanding roster of high profile clients.  

Quova, a provider of internet geolocation data and services, announced a partnership with Coremetrics, in efforts to power online marketing success for global enterprises.
