Hitwise: "Dancing with the Stars" Data
March 02, 2006

Hitwise reports on traffic to the "Dancing with the Stars" website, as well as on search terms for contestant Stacy Keibler.

From the start of "Dancing with the Stars," gamblers in Vegas had favored Stacy Keibler to take the crown, but in the end it was Drew Lachey and partner Sheryl Burke who fox trotted their way to victory. Keibler took third place behind NFL great Jerry Rice on Sunday night's finale (2/26/2006). While Nick Lachey's younger brother took home the trophy, WWE star Stacy may have taken home the true prize-- the greatest increase in popularity. Hitwise Search Intelligence data shows the most popular contestant being searched on the internet was in fact Stacy Keibler.
