Active Athlete

What are your monthly impressions?
Today the Active Athlete Ad Network has about 100 million and expects to be at 300 million by August.

How many unique visitors are there within your network in a given month?
2.5 million today, 7 million by August.

How many sites are in your network?
More than 50.

What kind of targeting do you provide? How is this targeting achieved?
We offer Demographic, Geographic and Behavioral via OAS, user registration and our proprietary technology.

Do you accept all forms of rich media? How about video?
Yes. Yes.

What is a distinguishing feature of your network? Do you cater to a particular kind of audience or site (e.g., all sports content; the network focuses on moms; the key demographic seems to be Men 18-24)?
Yes, we are a vertical network that is targeting one of the most sought after demographics: our people don’t watch Monday night football but play it. They are climbing mountains, playing tennis, running marathons, doing triathlons, snowboarding, they are Active Athletes. We have people whose passion is athletics. We represent the largest aggregation of independent sports sites available.

Is there anything else you’d like to say about the network or about the online advertising industry in general (prognosis, needs for change, et cetera)?
The internet is not just a canvas for ads but a vehicle for people to learn and share information. As sellers and buyers we must respect our audience and their time. We all use the internet on a daily basis for work, social and commerce. If you think of one’s priorities in life as family, work and whatever they love to do, then the internet is playing a more vital role everyday. The ability to connect with people’s priorities is an amazing opportunity. The Active Athlete Ad Network allows advertisers to connect and establish a relationship with people’s passions. These relationships create short- and long-term customer equity.
