One of the most exciting news announcements marking the future of the DVR and broadband collaboration was the TiVo partnership with Yahoo! With Yahoo account IDs now synchronized with TiVo accounts, Yahoo users can more easily schedule their recordings online as well as display music, photos and weather on their TVs.Edward Lichty, vice president of business development at TiVo, said, "the ability to let our subscribers access Yahoo's content from their televisions marks a significant development in the company's year-old campaign to expand beyond basic digital video recording services to becoming more of an entertainment hub."
