Peer39 adds to its board, plus other interactive industry hires, partnerships, launches and announcements.

1020 Placecast strengthened its leadership with the announcement that Alistair Goodman, former VP of strategic marketing at Tribal Fusion, will be joining the company as CEO.

4INFO will soon open its fourth U.S. office in New York. The three other offices are in San Mateo, Calif., Washington, D.C. and Chicago.

Adconion Media Group announced the launch of its new video content syndication offering, AMG-TV, which allows creators and studios access to Adconion's global network of publisher sites, advertiser and agency partners to broadly distribute and effectively monetize their premium web video content.

Apptera announced that its board of directors has elected Henry M. Vogel as the company's new president and CEO.

Collective Media unveiled the second generation of its AMP platform: AMP 2.0. The first generation of AMP, launched in March 2008, provided online publishers with an ad network management solution to create their own branded, vertical ad networks. AMP 2.0 now further extends these capabilities to advertisers and agencies, providing them with new audience targeting and inventory management tools to better optimize display ads across multiple ad networks and publishers.

Didit announced that it will begin issuing campaign performance security accounts for new search campaigns that it takes on during the fourth quarter of 2008. The new program is intended to restore credibility to the search engine marketing agency sector, which according to Didit President Dave Pasternack, "suffers from an epidemic of over-promising and under-performance." 

eXelate, creator of a behavioral targeting data exchange, has announced the launch of "teXi" (Targeting eXchange Interface) for publishers on the eXchange. teXi is a web-based behavioral data management and reporting tool that monitors eXchange activity and provides publishers (data sellers) with real-time performance and revenue metrics.

FetchBack, an online behavioral marketing firm specializing in retargeting, has announced that its customers can now display tailored display advertisements to a lost prospect, based on a more in-depth form of retargeting, referred to as "keyword retargeting." In addition, the company also opened a San Francisco office.

IGA Worldwide announced a multi-year agreement with Activision Publishing to deliver dynamic in-game advertising into multiple video game titles on Sony Computer Entertainment's PlayStation 3 (PS3).
 
MTV Networks (MTVN), a division of Viacom, announced that it has acquired Social Project, Inc., its partner in building the Flux social media platform.

NetShelter Technology Media announced that Futuremark Corp. has executed an agreement to be part of the NetShelter portfolio of sites.

Peer39 has named Curtis G. Viebranz to its board of directors.

Photrade.com introduced a new photo contest platform, where anyone can create and run a customized photo contest with just a few clicks.

Pixsy Corporation, a B2B provider of private label video and image search, announced that Pixsy VSP is available to any website or application. Once approved into the Pixsy Network, website publishers can build rich applications that enable millions of videos to be played back directly on the publisher website.

PointRoll announced at ad:tech 2008, the appointment of Andy Pocock as managing director, EMEA.

Siegel+Gale, a global branding firm, announced the creation of a new dynamic media practice and the appointment of Thomas Mueller as its global director.

Tremor Media announced that its Acudeo Video Monetization Platform has been adopted by more than 400 web publishers, including Broadcast Interactive Media, Delve Networks, Minyanville, RipeDigital and Voxant, among many others.

Tribal DDB Worldwide announced that it has been selected, along with partners DDB Worldwide and OMD, by McAfee, Inc., to lead its global advertising account.
