For the release of Paramount’s “Mean
Girls,” Tribal DDB made the online advertising fresh
and funny. It focused on bringing the world of teen girls
to life with an innovative and highly interactive campaign
using Point Roll, Eyeblaster, Interpoll, custom evites,
and dynamic ticket and showtime lookups. Tribal DDB produced
hundreds of units over the course of six weeks, making
it Paramount's largest online campaign to date. “Mean
Girls” opened at No. 1 at the box office and stayed
strong, becoming one of the studio's most successful films
of the year.
