Lori Luechtefeld is publisher of iMedia Connection. She came to iMedia in July 2008 from Canon Communications, where she served as managing editor of an executive-level business magazine in the medical technology field. Prior to joining Canon, Lori held a variety of news writing and editing positions at B2B publications and daily newspapers across Southern California.

Prior to moving out West, Lori began her career as a newspaper reporter and magazine editor in Missouri. Born and raised in St. Louis, she attended the School of Journalism at the University of Missouri, Columbia, where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in magazine journalism. While completing her graduate work, she worked for Investigative Reporters and Editors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of investigative reporting. During her tenure there, she authored two books, "Interviews with the Interviewers" and "Covering Pollution: An Investigative Reporter's Guide."

After a 12-year stint in Los Angeles, Lori now resides in Irvine, Calif. In her offline life, she enjoys roadtrips, Stephen King novels, and theme parks. She practically lives at Disneyland. Her charming husband, Drew, and upsettingly handsome son, Walter, are her two favorite people on the planet.
