Richard Shore serves as President of RedLever, a global studio at the nexus of advertising and entertainment he co-founded in 2008. Shore is responsible for forming strategic relationships with content providers and overseeing RedLever’s full, in-house studio capabilities, including the creation, production and distribution of content to a global audience of nearly 350 million unique Internet users worldwide via RedLever’s exclusive relationship with Joost Video Network. He has spearheaded the creation of online entertainment experiences that have delivered strong ROI for brands including MdDonald’s, Jenn-Air, Lactaid, U.S. Army, TRESemmé and Grey Goose and has worked with such talent as Terrell Owens, Baron Davis, Joe Montana, Bruno Mars, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.
Prior to joining RedLever, Shore was General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer of First Look Studios, Inc, where he led the development of the studio’s digital strategy to generate revenue from its existing film library. Previously, Shore served as Senior Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs and General Counsel for First Look Studios, where he was responsible for negotiating all sales, acquisition and production deals.
Before that, Shore served as Senior Vice President of Business Affairs and Operations at Capital Entertainment Corporation, a film production and home entertainment distribution company, where he was advisor on acquisitions, production and financing in the media and entertainment industry. He has also held management positions at Sony Pictures Television International, Sony Pictures Digital and Showcase Entertainment.
Shore is a graduate of the California Western School of Law, and holds a bachelor’s degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
