As Senior Vice President of iMedia Communications NA, Marti Funk is responsible for the iMedia business.

Marti has over 15 years of experience in marketing, media, business management and has a unique perspective having time spent on the agency, media technology and client side of the industry. Prior to dmg, Marti co-founded a successful media-tech consultancy that included clients such as IPG Cadreon, LG Electronics, Publicis, and dmg :: event’s Marketing Leadership Exchange.   She served as VP of Marketing and Client Solutions for the start-up Sportgenic, a vertical sports network with patented media management technology that was acquired by Glam Media.  Additional experience includes her role as VP Digital Distribution and Partner Strategy for Real Branding with clients including ABC Daytime, Warner Brothers Home Entertainment, Unilever and Anheuser-Bush InBev.  For these clients, she was instrumental in developing digital brand strategy and media roadmaps using consumer insights, competitive assessment and partnership opportunities.  Marti has used her media expertise in a number of other media leadership roles, including Media Director for CARAT, e-Commerce Marketing Specialist for PETCO, and Digital Media Strategist/Analyst for LOT21.

A native of the Pacific Northwest and following 15 years in San Francisco, Marti and her family now live in Dana Point, CA.   They take full advantage of outdoor activities with the gorgeous Southern California weather.
