Dana M. Harris oversees the technology team at Beck Media & Marketing, directing communications, public relations and earned media initiatives for the agency's technology, interactive and new media clients. She has over a decade of experience working with established companies and start-ups in the digital entertainment and technology industries and has played an integral role in the development and successful launches of several new media services, including Hulu, Napster 2.0, and Bitbop. 

Prior to joining Beck Media, Dana was with Fox Mobile Group (FMG) where, as VP, Brand and Global Communications, she oversaw the division's communications and social media activities on a global scale. Dana moved to FMG from Fox Entertainment Group, where she served as Executive Director, Communications and worked closely with the Fox Digital Media team.
 
Before going to Fox, Dana was Vice President, Communications, at Napster, where she was the senior executive responsible for the company's strategic communications, events and viral marketing initiatives, including those in support of the service's launch in Canada and Japan, as well as its introduction of the world's first mobile digital music subscription service.
 
Dana began her communications career as a member of the Technology practice group at Fleishman Hillard in New York, where she supported a wide roster of clients including pressplay, JD Edwards, Yahoo!, Sirius Satellite Radio, Hasbro and T-Mobile. She has also held event management positions at Worldwide Business Research, Production Group International and L'Oreal Retail Division.


Dana has BAs in Political Science and Journalism and Media Studies from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
