As a creative developer with a career spanning over 15 years, Marcus Jiménez has been providing thought leadership and innovative solutions to some of the world’s leading brands including Clorox, MillerCoors and Procter & Gamble. His agency experience spans across the multicultural, Hispanic and general market landscape having served Vidal, Reynardus & Moya, Young & Rubicam, The Integer Group\TBWA & TracyLocke.
In 2006, he and partner Gail Brooks would launch Huemanitas, an cross-cultural agency specializing in providing culturally intelligent marketing solutions for clients such as PepsiCo and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. “We strive to provide client partners with smarter, more effective solutions rooted in cultural relevance, regardless of the medium.”
For his creativity and leadership, Marcus has been awarded by The Society of Publication Designers and the Art Director's Club of Denver. In 2007, was recognized by marketing and advertising’s ADCOLOR® Industry Coalition as a Change Agent Award Recipient for his dedication to industry, diversity and community.
A diversified and engaging speaker, Marcus is often found sharing his perspectives as a guest speaker/presenter across a variety of industry associations and private sector engagements including Advertising Week, PepsiCo’s Innovation and Planning Growth Summit, the Hispanic Innovations Conference, and most recently, the 2012 LatinVision Hispanic Marketing Conference Series on Cross-Cultural Sports Engagement.
A true hybrid, Marcus holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology with continued graduate studies at the Daniels College of Business, University of Denver & Cornell University. He is a proud New Yo-Rican who was born and raised in the Williamsburg/Bushwick section of Brooklyn, NY. He headed west in 2003, and currently resides in Denver, Colorado with his wife
