Darren Steele is Principal and Strategic Director at Mindspace, a gamification boutique. He specializes in applying gamification to strategic turnarounds, engagement strategies and customer acquisition challenges. With over a decade in the games industry, Darren was a lead on the Xbox launch team while at Microsoft, where he directed the marketing efforts for a $200 million Xbox games portfolio and a $300 million segment of the U.S. Windows XP business.
Now at Mindspace, his clients include Time Warner, MGM, Microsoft, Showtime, Viacom and FedEx. Darren earned his MBA from BYU's Marriott School of Management and co-authored the gamification book “I’ll Eat This Cricket for a Cricket Badge.” Darren can be reached at [email protected]
