Gretchen Hyman is Director of Marketing for UberMedia, a mobile ad tech platform that helps brands locate, engage, and motivate active consumers. Gretchen is the former Editor-in-Chief for iMedia Connection, where she oversaw the media property and its mission to provide readers with relevant, timely editorial content that contributes to the advancement, education, and vitality of brands and agencies. Gretchen also managed the day-to-day functions of the editorial staff, helped drive traffic growth, and ensured that iMedia's stable of freelancers, contributors, and bloggers remained fresh, active, and at the forefront of the industry.

Gretchen came to iMedia from AdNet Media, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the company's flagship trade magazine and sister website featuring breaking internet and technology-related editorial content. Prior to that, she helmed the Los Angeles bureau for Jupitermedia's InternetNews.com media outlet, covering the online technology industry in Southern California.

Gretchen attended the New School for Social Research in New York City where she received a B.A. in English with a minor in creative writing. She is also a graduate of UCLA's journalism program. A native Vermonter, but a lifetime Californian, Gretchen resides in West Hollywood, Calif.
