Carole Walker, a 2007 recipient of Advertising Age’s Women to Watch is a media industry thought leader with expertise in digital marketing and driving integrated marketing communications. Recently recognized with a 2011 Adtech Internet Industry Achievement Award, Carole also was among the iMedia 2010 Class25 top influential executives in the internet industry. She chairs the Digital Marketing Committee at the Association of National Advertisers and is on the board of the Ad Council.
Until May of this year, Carole was VP Integrated Marketing Communications for Mars Chocolate during the recent chocolate wars when Mars gained five share points in five years. Since then she has been working alongside the fine people at Novartis in the Pharmaceutical division as Interim Director of Media and Digital Solutions.
The story doesn’t end there. After successfully leading Media and Integrated Marketing departments with global brands like Mars, Kraft, and Nabisco Carole has ventured out to create Integrity Marketing & Media, LLC (IMM) in May of this year. IMM provides strategic leadership resources supporting short to long term projects in all areas of brand and corporate marketing communications services.
IMM is invited by companies to help marketing and advertising departments create step change. Integrity Marketing & Media LLC creates programs or updates processes in areas such as Annual Brand Planning, Marketing Training, or creating Social Marketing programs. They design and lead creative brainstorming sessions, and customize Integrated Marketing Communications programs that agency partners readily embrace.
Carole’s career began in the marketing research department at DMB&B. After five years she moved on to Young & Rubicam where she held VP Media planning positions on US Army and Whitehall Robins.
Carole devotes down time to her husband, Andy and their two teenagers, Rachel and Brandon. Her passions are cooking, music and fitness.
