Rich Bloom is the COO at Onswipe. Previously, Rich was vice president Video at AOL where he was responsible for the video strategy across all AOL-owned, the 5min and Advertising.com Video publisher networks, and all video-related partnerships and business development for AOL. Rich joined AOL via the acquisition of 5min where he was the SVP Business Development. Prior to the acquisition, Rich launched 5min’s publisher network and content partnership teams and built up the company’s network to be one of the top 15 comScore U.S. video content properties.
Prior to 5min, Rich was VP, Business Development and Legal Affairs for UGO Entertainment. Rich focused on building and managing UGO's vertical ad network, acquisitions and content licensing in addition to overseeing all legal matters. Rich played a key role in leading UGO through its sale to Hearst.
Rich began his career as an attorney with two large firms in NY (Simpson Thacher and Hogan & Hartson (now Hogan Lovells) where his practice focused on media and entertainment.
