Alastair Duncan is Chief Executive of MRM Worldwide, the leading UK digital agency. He has over fifteen years experience in creating and building interactive marketing and advertising businesses. From developing early interactive television and gaming systems to starting up new media firms both inside and outside advertising agencies (APL Digital and Zentropy Partners respectively) Alastair has remained at the cutting edge of marketing and technology, growing his businesses both in scale and profitability year on year. Zentropy Partners was also twice agency of the year in the UK. He managed the successful merger of Zentropy with MRM (McCann Direct) and Miller Starr database marketing in 2005 to form the award winning MRM Worldwide agency, now one of the largest digitally focused marketing firms in the UK. Clients include Microsoft, Intel, COI, Unilever, Nestlé, MSN and the Newspaper Marketing Agency. He comments regularly on the impact of digital on the marketing and advertising industry, both in the national and trade press as well as on this blog. He is a Fellow of the RSA, Member of British Design and Art Direction and one of the original members of the Digital Marketing Group at the IPA. He lives in London with his young family, enjoys fine art, sailing, parenting, travel and the occasional game of tennis.
