I'm the VP of Content & Events at Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX), the leading internet technology, media, and marketing association in the U.S. I oversee the strategy and implementation of organizational products, guiding the development of event content and operations. The position gives me an opportunity to take a leading role in the growth of an organization, bring content to our community in interesting new ways, and make a difference in my local market. Prior to this, I was responsible for curating the content of conferences in the dmg :: events digital marketing sector as Director of Content, specifically including iMedia Summits and MLX (Marketing Leadership Exchange), a white label event series for clients such as Clorox, General Mills, and PepsiCo. This involved annual product strategy, researching market trends, building a network of digital marketing professionals, developing the advisory board, speaker faculty and the agenda as well as managing the onsite logistics at the event. I also managed and mentored a team.
I've worked in conferences and events for over 8 years and have developed events for the digital marketing and nonprofit sectors.
Fun facts: I'm a UMass & Baruch College Alum, a proud owner of Ricky (an older min pin) and Pickles (a dachshund puppy), a foodie, and an aspiring fashionista.
