Previously, Tommy led AOL Moviefone to its position as the top movie information site on the Web. He was AOL's first employee in Los Angeles as a founding member of Digital City, now AOL Local. Prior to Digital City, Tommy worked on the business plan for U.S. West's Yellow Pages on the Internet. His previous experience was in print: he won the Time Inc. Consumer Marketing Division's Marketing Achievement Award while at Fortune magazine, and then became marketing manager for Investor's Business Daily. During his three years at IBD, it was the nation's fastest growing newspaper. Tommy was also in charge of creating Investor's Business Daily Online with America Online, and the Investor's Business Daily electronic edition.
He has a BA degree from Princeton University and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
