Ed Wise is SVP of Turner Digital Ad Sales with a specialized focus on Branded Entertainment. In this role, he is charged with developing Turner’s humor vertical through strategic partnerships with clients to develop custom integrated marketing solutions that utilize Funny or Die and Turner production capabilities and talent to maximize brand campaigns across appropriate Turner properties, namely TBS and Adult Swim, as well as Funny Or Die.com, adultswim.om and TBS.com.  Based in New York, Wise reports to Greg D’Alba, president CNN News Networks and Turner Digital Ad Sales.

Wise joined Turner Digital Ad Sales in September 2012 via a partnership between Funny Or Die and Turner Broadcasting that gave Turner an equity stake in the comedy site and established Turner as the marketplace representative for Funny Or Die advertising opportunities.  The Turner Branded Entertainment group collaborates closely with the other various ad sales marketing groups within the Turner Ad Sales division.  

Previously, as VP of advertising sales for Funny Or Die, Wise played a key role in building the premiere comedy brand with market-leading content across all media.  Leveraging over 17 years of interactive marketing experience, he was instrumental in Funny Or Die’s branded entertainment division, leading sales and strategy.  Prior to joining Funny Or Die, Wise spent seven years at CBS Interactive as a key contributor to the company’s integrated approach and growth.

Wise is active in the industry as the current vice-president for 212; chairman of the Syracuse Newhouse Network; a member of the Advisory Boards for iMedia; and a previous seven-year term as executive vice president of the Chicago Interactive Marketing Association.
