Amy is the key digital and new media spokesperson for online media outlets and bloggers at Walmart. In her role, she is responsible for providing strategic new media advice and counsel to senior management, developing strategic online communication plans, monitoring Walmart’s corporate social properties and managing agency partnerships to develop new media strategies and tactics. Prior to joining Walmart, Amy led Global Social Media Strategy and Operations at 3M. In this role, Amy directed global social media efforts for numerous 3M Consumer & Office Brands including Post-it® and Scotch®. She developed global best practices and consulted brand marketers on social media strategy in alignment of business goals and objectives. Previous experience includes managing interactive marketing and eCommerce marketing at 3M, serving as a Web Metrics analyst at Ameriprise Financial and an eCommunications Analyst at Allianz Life. Prior to her corporate life, she worked at a small website start-up during the dot com boom in Silicon Valley. Amy received her undergraduate degree from the University of Saint Thomas’ School of Business. She earned her MBA and MAL from Augsburg College.
