Michael is CEO at MEA Digital, a top 50 interactive marketing strategy and services firm with offices in New York City and San Diego, CA. The company helps national and international brands such as Oakley, Nickelodeon, Callaway, Cars.com, ESET, and Mitsubishi make the most of the digital medium. The agency’s full service offerings include online advertising, email, Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, affiliate marketing, and web site design and development.

Prior to his current position he was CEO at World Medical Leaders, a private firm that provided both the federal government and various states with internet-based early warning systems and educational materials for bio-terrorism and other public health emergencies. Before that Michael was CEO at Illusion Fusion, a broadband content developer and e-commerce builder with offices in San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. In the mid-1990's Michael co-founded US Interactive, a leading Internet professional services company. He and his four partners built a small consulting firm of “five guys in a hallway” into a 1,000 person, NASDAQ-traded company in less than five years, managing online marketing for a variety of clients including IBM, Toshiba, American Express, Lexus, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Earlier in his career Michael was Director of Interactive Marketing at Avrett Free & Ginsberg in New York, where he provided consulting services for General Media, Omni Online, and the American Council for the Arts. He created the first World Wide Web site for alcoholic beverages for Johnnie Walker Scotch, as well as sites for Fortis Financial, a $100 billion global insurance and financial company, and various industry charity events. Michael started his career at Ayer New York, where he developed marketing and advertising programs for Procter and Gamble brands such as Puffs tissue, Folgers coffee and Crush soft drinks. Subsequently, as a Vice President at MVBMS/Euro RSCG, he supervised marketing activities for Ramada Hotels, A&W Soft Drinks, G. Heileman Brewing, and the Advertising Council.

Michael attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, where he established a merit scholarship and helped fund the building of the new Brandcenter, the school's Graduate School of Advertising. He also graduated from the Wealth Management program at Wharton. Michael is a founding member of the New York City Kappa Sigma Fraternity Alumni Chapter, and a member of the New York Caledonian Club. He paints in oils, snorkels, plays a lousy game of golf, and collects rare books (boring) and wine (not-so-boring).
