Priyesh Pandey joined Mahindra Insurance Brokers, a subsidiary of Mahindra Finance as Head- Marketing & Strategy in 2015. As Head- Marketing & Strategy, he steers the company’s strategy, new initiatives, marketing, and business excellence. He is responsible for development of Compare & Buy portal – He is also instrumental in launching B2B2C portal for pre-owned car dealers, first of its kind in India. He also successfully conceptualized and executed rebranding exercise for Mahindra Insurance Brokers ( ). He specializes in developing go-to market strategy for rural and semi-urban markets in providing them better risk management solutions in a cost efficient way.

Priyesh obtained his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. He received All-India Rank One in the Indian Engineering Services Examination, 1997. He has also completed his Fulbright-Nehru-CII Fellowship for Leadership Management from Carnegie Mellon University in the United States in 2015.


Priyesh has more than 20 years of management consulting and marketing experience. His specialization includes business incubation, strategic alliance, and joint venture formation, strategy formation and deployment and productivity improvement. Before coming to Mahindra Insurance Brokers, Priyesh worked in the Group Strategy Office. There he was involved in the incubation of Mahindra Solar and steered the Rooftop Solar business vertical. Prior to his stint at Mahindra, Priyesh worked with Tata Strategic Management Group, Polaris Software Labs, Indian Railways, and BHEL.
