As VP of New Media at Focus Features, Nicole Butte leads the worldwide film company’s digital marketing and publicity strategy for theatrical campaigns. Through digital media, creative, promotions, social media, and publicity, Nicole has helped develop innovative and award-winning campaigns for such films as 9, Coraline, Babies, The American, Burn After Reading, Milk, and The Kids Are All Right. Based in the company’s Los Angeles offices, she joined Focus in mid-2008.
Prior to Focus Features, Nicole worked at New Line Cinema as VP of Interactive Media and Promotions. There, she worked on campaigns for Sex and the City, Hairspray, and Wedding Crashers, among other movies. She previously held positions at Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment and Virgin Entertainment Group.
