Gordon was previously the CMO at King Fish Media, a content marketing agency and worked with clients such as Ameriprise Financial, Bank of America, Boston Market, Carrabba’s, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters/Keurig, IBM, Kretschmer Wheat Germ, Source Media and Zappos.
He is a regular contributor to outlets such as Chief Marketer.com, CMO.com, iMedia Connection, Media Post and Marketing Profs, where he writes about digital and content marketing, storytelling, and customer engagement strategies. Gordon has been named one of “The Top 100 CMOs to Follow on Twitter” by Social Media Marketing Magazine and CEOWORLD Magazine.
Prior to joining King Fish Media, Gordon held the position of Group Marketing Director for the CMP Channel Group (now The Channel Company), and Executive Director of Marketing and Research at Ziff Davis Media. Gordon started his career in marketing and research at IDG.
Gordon has a B.S. in Psychology from the University at Albany, an MBA from Northeastern University and completed Stanford Business School’s executive education program in marketing management. He is now an adjunct faculty member at the Endicott College Van Loan Graduate School, where he teaches marketing strategy and digital marketing to MBA students, and is a member of the Corporate Advisory Board.
