Hugh McGoran, is Chief Revenue Officer at Magnetic - the leader in Search Retargeting. Prior to Magnetic, Hugh was Senior Vice President of Agency Sales at comScore where he launched their new agency-direct sales team. He came to comScore from Turn, Inc. where as Vice President Sales he led the company's sales effort transformation from advertising network to Demand Side Platform. Prior to Turn, he served as SVP Sales at Peer39, a leader in semantic targeting. Before Peer39, he was with TACODA, Inc. starting as Vice President of Eastern Advertising Sales. Following the acquisition of TACODA by AOL/Time Warner in 2007, he led the TACODA sales integration into AOL's Platform A and was appointed sales lead for AOL's Behavioral Targeting effort. Prior to joining TACODA in 2005, Mr. McGoran was Vice President of Advertising Sales at Real Cities, a national network of regional and vertical websites created and operated by Knight Ridder Digital. He joined Knight Ridder Digital in 1996 and held various positions including Director of Interactive Sales for the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News and Regional Vice President for Knight Ridder Digital. Mr. McGoran came to Knight Ridder from his previous role as Director of Interactive Advertising at Lorel Marketing in Philadelphia, PA. He is regularly quoted in industry publications and has presented at numerous industry events.
