Made possible through a unique background spanning the media eco-system: Advertiser, Publisher and Agency (creative & media). Robin has led content creation, community management, product development, ecommerce and marketing communication strategy initiatives for brands including Alliance Atlantis, HP, Toyota and Yahoo! During her tenure on the Media Agency side, she led the Digital Strategy practice at Starcom and MediaCom Canada with a focus on delivering channel strategies with a focus on social and mobile.
A believer in the mantra that "The best way to predict the future is to invent it", Robin has worked on launching several award-winning (The Internationalist, Media Innovation, Creative Media and AToMiC) digital global firsts. Robin currently leads Channel Communications Marketing at Unilever Canada.
Robin is a frequent speaker at conferences across North America (ad:tech, iMediaConnection, Dx3, IAB Mixx, AToMiC), a regular contributor to Media in Canada, founding Chair of IAB Canada's Social Media Committee and an active member/advisor for several industry boards including: IAB Emerging Technology Council, nextMedia, iMedia Summit and comScore Research Advisory Council (CRAC).
In her spare time, Robin leads social media strategy for the Toronto Underground Market (@TOundrgroundmkt) a social food market that acts as a unique space for connecting Toronto home cooks, budding food entrepreneurs and TO's thriving food community.
