Ashlen Cherry is a certified information privacy professional (CIPP), with more than a dozen years of dedicated privacy experience in the high tech, financial services, and online marketing industries.

Cherry has been at Dell for the past five years. For the past two years, Cherry has been the global privacy lead for Dell's services organization. In this role, Cherry supported Dell's services offerings, including next-generation cloud computing, technology, security, and infrastructure management services. Cherry has extensive privacy experience in most areas of data protection and privacy law affecting private business, including privacy marketing, ecommerce, social media, cloud computing, and privacy incident response.


Prior to joining Dell, Cherry led programs within the corporate privacy offices of Countrywide Financial Corporation and Bank of America, and was the first privacy leader at a leading email marketing service provider.


Cherry is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and earned her Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
