Spencer Kollas is a recognized industry leader in email deliverability and subscriber engagement. For more than a decade, Kollas has worked with the world’s foremost email marketers to help them connect with their customers and increase the return on investment (ROI) of their email marketing initiatives.

As Vice President of Global Deliverability Services, Kollas is responsible for the product development and innovation road map of Experian Marketing Services’ email deliverability services in more than 30 countries around the world. 

He works directly with Experian Marketing Services’ clients to help them understand best practices around email delivery and how consumers in different regions worldwide approach and use the email marketing channel. He also works with Internet service providers to understand the way their filtering systems work in order to create valuable, strategic and tactical insights on how client messages can stay in their customers’ inboxes. 

Kollas brings more than 10 years of experience to Experian Marketing Services in helping companies, both midsize and enterprise, increase the ROI of their overall marketing programs. Prior to joining Experian, Kollas spent six years as Director of Deliverability for StrongView, where he created a new line of business, which helped to increase the overall annual revenue by $5 million through the creation and management of new programs to assist clients in becoming successful email marketers. Prior to StrongView, Kollas was Director of Deliverability for Premiere Global Services. There, he managed the product development life cycle for all Deliverability Services products to create a line of business with a renewable revenue stream.

As an active member in several industry organizations, including the Email Sender & Provider Coalition, the Messaging Anti-Abuse Work Group, the Email Experience Council and the Anti-Phishing Work Group, Kollas has become a key resource for the marketing community at large regarding the latest deliverability trends and industry best practices. 

Kollas was named a Top 50 Email Marketing Influencer on Social Media by Vocus, Inc. and is quoted frequently in industry publications such as Direct Marketing News, MediaPost, FierceCMO and others. He lends his expertise on topics around deliverability for industry conferences and events such as the Direct Marketing Association’s Email Evolution Conference and MediaPost’s Email Insider Summit, among others.

He also is on the advisory board for Engajer, a company with an easy-to-use online platform that communicates messages in a way that is personal and engaging.
